Just an FYI, because I've been getting a lot of these lately - this group is for PATTERNS, not finished pieces.

Thanks!

Hi all! I've been a stalker (aka, member s.q. watcher) for quite a while, but due to circumstances I've not been able to really get into plushie-making till now, safe for some small things and some nice needlefelt projects.

However, I'm hoping one of you can help me out!
I, so far, have depended on existing patterns and adjusting them. There is just one thing I'm yet to tackle, and that is making anime/chibi plushies with that 'Nose seam' to give them that cute, pointy nose. I've tried and thrown aside so many times when it didn't work, only giving me a 'frankenstein-seam' over the middle of the upper face, but no visible improvement on a nose. What I'd like to reach is the nose I've seen on some plushies I've seen online, Pukind's Homestuck trolls have them (google them, I think you guys will love them).

Anyone here able to give me some tips and pointers on this? I'm still getting the feel for patterns. >_<

Greetz!

TnG.

Hi everyone!
I'm fairly new to the world of creating stuffed dolls/plushies.
I wish to create a stuffed poseable doll for a friend of mine. The biggest problem though is that I haven't been able to find a wire that should at least have the following;

A wire that's sturdy yet bendable, but not too bendable do that it breaks after posing it for at least five times.

I'm fine that the that sort of wire won't be cheap, what I hope to find is the kind of wire that hopefully will durable and rust free for my future plush doll gift.

Any advices or tips are very appreciate! Thank you all in advance!

I'm not super familiar with making plushies (just looking at the group out of curiosity) but my first thought is floral wire? It's sturdy and can be braided or bundled to make it thicker, and if you tuck the ends into the middle of the bundle, it won't be able to poke through the doll.

A question, sorry, does anyone knows a pattern for a scorpion plush? I can't find one for sale nor any patterns, so if anyone knows where I can find it, please tell me. I want one for so long.
