Hi folks, I'm Voodoo-Tiki and I'm the new founder of Pattern-Depot.

There are a few changes I wanted to let you know about. First, the folders have been somewhat re-organized. The biggest change is that "Animals and Creatures", the largest folder by far, has been split into two. "Animal Patterns" is for natural animals - tigers, bears, dogs, bunnies, ponys, birds, dolphins - and "Fantastic Creatures" is for unreal animals like dragons, unicorns, werewolves, Pokemon and other video game critters, and all kinds of imaginary beasts.

Food plushes now have their own folder apart from inanimate objects and robots. If a pattern is specifically intended to be a prop for a plush, it goes in "Clothing and Accessories".

The "Featured" folder has been almost entirely cleared out, only leaving a few memes that you might find amusing and "Free Plushie Patterns Online", a constantly updated resource for finding free patterns outside of DeviantArt.

The other big change is that we now accept patterns and tutorials for Needle Felting, Knitted and Crocheted (Amigurumi) plushes, and Costume/Cosplay & Fursuit patterns. At the moment all felted and fibercraft patterns go into those folders, but if we get a huge amount of submissions in the future I may split it up, for example one folder for Amigurumi dolls, one for animals, one for food, etc.  The last folder will focus specifically on the sewn aspect of costumes, as there are already several great groups devoted to making the whole suit, so expect to mainly see patterns for things like ears, tails, paws and so on.

I'd also like to run some kind of group activity at some point, perhaps picking a monthly pattern we can all attempt to make together. Suggestions are welcome.

Have fun creating!

Hello, I am sorry I declined adding my pattern to your group. The reason is others have found the pattern a bit buggy and though I haven't taken it down yet, I don't want others to start it and have issues. Thank you for the interest, though.

Hello, I was wondering if I may be able to somehow get a note out to all the pattern makers on this group?

I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me and make me a pattern for something like this

It would probably be best to find a sphere pattern, then add all the little parts.

Short fur would be good for the sphere, and fleece for the rest.

Safety eyes would go well, like the ones they sell here:
